Aromatherapy

The creator of this domain, as well as the father of the very term, was Rene-Maurice Gattefosse who devoted his entire life to the investigation of the influence of essential oils on the health and beauty of man. His observations and experiments are presented in his book, 'Aromatherapie'.

Essential oils have a very broad spectrum of influence. Among other things, their influence may be antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, normalising psychophysical states, dissolving stress and insomnia, hypersomnolence, is palliative, moisturizing the skin, and stimulating the immune system.

Essential oils are obtained in two ways: through the distillation or extraction of oil from a plant.

To show how precious such oils may be, one could mention the fact that in order to obtain 2 kg of aromatic essence it is necessary to distill 100 kg of ylang-ylang flowers, and from 100 kg of orange flowers  one obtains only 100 g of  essence.

POOLSPA has selected aromatherapeutic oils especially for hydromassage, which provide unforgettable sensual impressions, and are simultaneously  completely safe for the hydromassage system. For those who prefer to combine a steam bath with other form of beneficial treatment, POOLSPA offers aromatherapy available in steam and massage cabins.
